Jadon Sancho (Manchester United) has refused to publicly apologize to manager Eric ten Hague.
According to ESPN on Friday, Sancho will risk his Manchester United career if he continues to refuse to apologize to Van Gaal.바카라
Sancho was ordered to train alone after accusing van Gaal of lying about the reasons for the 1-3 loss to Arsenal in the pre-season.
Sancho and ten Haag had a meeting at Carrington, but Sancho reportedly refused to say he was sorry. ESPN said there was no timetable for his return to the first team until he apologized.
ESPN added that Ten Hagh will demand that Sancho apologize, either privately or in a public statement, and if he refuses, he will let him go when the transfer market reopens next January.
“Sancho will leave the first-team group and remain on a personal training program until the issue of squad discipline is resolved,” Manchester United said in a statement on Thursday.
This is not the first time Van Gaal has asked a player to apologize. When Cristiano Ronaldo was suspended after refusing to come on as a substitute in a 2-0 win over Tottenham last October, he only rejoined the squad after expressing regret for his behavior in a statement posted on social media.
Earlier, Sancho had taken to social media to accuse Ten Haag of making him a scapegoat for a long time. Sancho reportedly feels that he was treated differently from other members of the squad.
Sancho is under contract at £300,000 a week until 2026. As such, Manchester United will find it difficult to sell him to another club without being responsible for a significant portion of his wages.
