Hosted and sponsored by Shin Shin Hotel Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Un-jang) and organized by the Korea Little Baseball Federation (Chairman Yoo Seung-an), 60 teams and 2,000 people participated in the competition.

Incheon Seo-gu defeated Namyangju 7-4 in the final match held at Kang Chang-hak Baseball Stadium in Seogwipo, Jeju on the 22nd and became the first winning team. Incheon Seo-gu coach Jung Min-seok and Namyangju City coach Kwon Soon-il won the award for manager of the competition, while Incheon Seo-gu District Hong Yeon-jun became the main character of the model award and Namyangju City Jang Ho-yeon won the encouragement award.

“I’m so happy to win the first championship, and I’m going to sweat a lot with my kids to have a better year this year than last year. I’m so happy that I won the championship. I’ll do my best in Seo-gu, Incheon. And I’m so grateful to my parents and children who worked hard together.”

Hong Yeon-jun, who received the model award, said, “I saw them win five competitions last year, and I was so jealous. I feel so good to make good memories with my friends and win the first competition this year. I thank the coach, the coach, and my parents for giving me a good opportunity. I will work hard for the remaining competitions.”

Meanwhile, the Korea Little Baseball Federation received a great response by opening a baseball academy to improve players’ skills during the tournament.

Ma Hae-young, former MVP and general manager of the Korea Little Baseball League, Min Byung-hun, former outfielder of the Korean national team who played for Doosan and Lotte, and pitcher Yoo Won-sang, who posted 35 wins, 53 losses, 8 saves and 66 holds, have donated their talents. They were with the players from 7:30 p.m. on Saturday to Sunday for two hours.
