Na Sung-beom’s performance in ‘Triple in 291 Days’… KIA, Doosan beat to escape consecutive losses

The KIA Tigers escaped from two consecutive losses thanks to Na Sung-beom, who scored three RBIs in the early stages of the game, and Yoon Young-chul, a starter who wisely overcame the crisis.

KIA defeated the Doosan Bears 8-2 in a professional baseball 2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League visit match held at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on the 9th.고소득알바

Na Sung-beom played with two hits and three RBIs in four at-bats, including a final triple, and Yoon Young-chul sent out runners in each inning, but he allowed five hits and three walks in five innings.

In the top of the first inning, KIA had a chance to hit Park Chan-ho’s left-handed hit and Kim Do-young’s walk to the first and second bases with no outs.

Taking the batter’s box, Na hit a two-run triple that penetrated the first baseman by hitting Doosan starter Choi Jun-ho’s slider. It was the final hit of the game.

It is the first time in 291 days that Na Sung-beom hit a triple since the match against Suwon kt wiz on August 24 last year.

KIA added one run with Lee Woo-sung’s infield hit next to the shortstop, coming out with one out and third base.

After one out in the second inning, Kim Do-young hit a double that cut through the left-center to settle for the scoring position at once, and Na Sung-beom added an RBI with a timely hit to make a 4-0 run.

KIA starter Yoon Young-chul passed the first crisis by cooking Lee Yoo-chan with a double play in front of shortstop after giving up a walk to first batter Henry Ramos in the bottom of the first inning.

In the second inning, with two outs and runners on the second and third bases, Cho was struck out with a swing and miss, ending the inning without losing a point.

In the fifth inning, KIA catcher Han Jun-su caught Doosan off guard, who was trying to steal a double steal, and caught Ramos, who was playing second base rather than Cho Soo-haeng heading to third base, increasing the out count.

With the help of a catcher, Yoon Young-chul handled Lee Yoo-chan with a grounder to shortstop with two outs and third base, safely breaking through the last crisis.

Yoon Young-chul won his fifth game (three losses) of the season.

In the top of the fifth inning with a 4-0 lead, Choi Won-joon hit Doosan right-hander Kim Dong-joo’s 146km/h fastball to hit a wedge three-run ball over the right wall.

Doosan avoided a “scoreless loss” with Huh Kyung-min’s two-run shot to the left in the bottom of the eighth inning.

Doosan had been on a five-game winning streak from Tuesday (against the NC Dinos in Changwon on April 4) to Saturday (against the KIA Tigers in Jamsil on April 8), but failed to achieve 100% of its weekly win rate on Sunday due to the collapse of starter Choi Joon-ho (four hits, four runs in four innings) and a lack of cohesion of its batters. Doosan finished the week with five wins and one loss.
